Boarding Requirements
Your cat must be vaccinated against cat flu with the annual vaccination that needs to have been administered within 12 months of the boarding departure date. Kittens need to be over 12 weeks old and have 3 vaccinations. Desexing is a requirement for boarding with us, with the exception of kittens under 6 months old. We ask that you administer an effect flea treatment prior to arrival; otherwise, if any evidence of fleas is found, we apply an Advantage treatment for $20.

Feeding and Water
Cats are fed a minimum of twice per day. We feed dry food in the morning and wet food at night. Our dry food is Advance or Blackhawk, and our wet food is roo mince, tuna or Whiskas. If your cat is on a special diet or fussy, you can provide your own food. Our team record and monitor daily eating and toileting. Water is monitored daily. Our pens don’t have a power point for plug in water fountains.
Toileting
We supply Breeders Choice cat litter and change it daily and as required. We stock a selection of litter tray sizes to suite all cat’s needs. Some cats have unique toileting habits and there is no issue to accommodate them.
Pens
Each cat has its own pen and doesn’t mix with other cats. Our pens are walk in with two levels to create a private, comfortable bedding area, and we provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. You may bring along bedding or favorite toys if you wish. (No scratch posts or bulky items that will clutter the floor area.) We have tailored options available for:
- Cats with mobility issues
- Special needs
- Extra privacy
- Multi cat families

Medication and Veterinary Care
Please contact us to discuss your cat’s medical needs. We can administer most forms of medication; however, we do not provide injections. If your cat becomes ill or needs veterinary care, we will contact you and advise of treatment required. We use a mixture of vets including a mobile vet, House Calls for Pets, the local vets in the area, and Care Emergency in Collingwood. All costs incurred for vet care and treatment will be at your expense.
Holiday Bookings
We recommend you make a book well in advance for the holiday periods. Over Christmas there is a minimum stay of seven days and four days over Easter. In September we confirm all dates for Christmas and ask for a $100 nonrefundable deposit.
