At The Catz Pyjamas Cattery, we provide a safe, and comfortable cat boarding experience. Trusted by Melbourne cat owners for over 14 years, our dedicated team brings a combined 20+ years of professional experience to every stay. Whether your cat is social and confident or a private individual, our facility is designed to meet their unique needs while giving you total peace of mind while you’re away.

Our Care

Our experienced team of cat attendants are all cat lovers and go above and beyond to create a comfortable and loving environment. We monitor eating and toileting habits to ensure every cat stays healthy and happy and keep daily logs. We can administer most medications. However, please note that we do not administer injections. During the stay we brush, clean eyes, and trim nails. We care for kittens from 12 weeks to senior cats.

The Cattery

Our boarding room is a calm and stress-free space where cats can relax, lounge and feel right at home. The cattery is flooded with natural light with a warm, airy and inviting atmosphere. We have generously sized furnished suites with single, double and triple options to suit single and multi-cat families for short or long stays.

Our walk-in suites are designed with three distinct levels. Your cat can enjoy a private, cozy bedding area, a separate lower level for dinning and hygiene, and a dedicated upper-level vantage point for those who prefer to see their surroundings from above. Each cats enjoys their own private space – we never mix cats from different households.

We can customize suites to accommodate cats with mobility challenges or for extra privacy when settling in, or cat families who share a space but need individualized areas during feeding time.

Cat Boarding

During the cat’s stay we provide their food, bedding, litter and give lots of love, pats and cuddles. We serve Advance or Blackhawk dry food in the mornings, and a choice of roo mince, tuna or Whiskas in the evening with additional feeding available if needed. If your cat is a fussy eater or has specific dietary requirements, you are welcome to bring your own food. To help your cat settle in you can bring a favorite toy or blanket from home. There is a large exercise pen to rotate long-stay cats through during their stay, and we provide regular updates and photos.

Cats need an annual flu vaccination and need to be desexed as a boarding requirement. We prioritize the care and wellbeing of cats.
